“Morning Dew”
(Winning Piece to the Saying-Goodbye-to-Bahr Poetry Contest)
My eyes are struggling as it found
First ray of light in Noria’s ground.
Last night grass-pillows were all I had,
but no complains, in Bahr, I’m a happy lad.
Yet, my face is damp, the grass is wet
brushed off that thought now, the last day’s set
Fear not, these aint tears, I say to you
I’m trying to convince myself; it’s just morning dew.
Passed by Charon and access I’ve gained
Melancholy; He brought me down mem’ry lane
Unexpected friendships forged in Devil’s Square
Will I have the same in the new world out there?
This same spot too, were all trades began
I’ve reaped good trades, and all sorts of scam
Overpricing; undervaluing; hacking; out of the blue
Vigilant GM’s and guild mates helped me make it through.
The Bahr world’s divided during the thrilling castle siege
For much-coveted ownership of the throne, Alliances compete,
But when the foul army marches in Loren’s valley
All prepares for battle with one purpose: show might and camaraderie!
In leveling modes, KS’ers and PK’ers, we despise as fools,
But, go to the Land of Trial; you’ll have a “no refusal to party requests" rule!
Itching to PK during no-experience-boost times for breather?
Rush to Devias and there awaits a row of fellow blood-rush seekers!
Win the prestigious Duel Master Event for instant fame,
Blunt renaming, rebuilding, pilot-hiring, that’s the name of the game,
Few through sheer charity and brilliance got their well-deserved victory.
Contestable game results? Visit the forums, pour your heart’s content, it’s free!
Trash talks, member-kicking, betrayal are these world’s biting realities
But hey look, brotherhood is found and even for some, their hearts’ destinies!
Respect and loyalty to our beloved Guild Masters, let us show
Let’s protect him while having fun in Save Thy Master Event we go!
I’ve never forgotten the glitch that deserved me the Game Master’s whisper,
When in the heat of the Soccer game, I’ve just warped right in the middle!
Game Masters, thank you for all the hearts, medals, and gifts you dropped
In the new world, kindly increase the drop rate; we’ll give you a hug!
It sad to leave my birthplace, my solitude, my comfort zone
There are not-so-good experiences, yes, but this is still my home
Will the new land be as familiar, will everything be all right?
I fill my heart with best hopes for tomorrow as I close my eyes tonight.
This morning, my face is still damp, the grass is still wet,
A new world, a new challenge for us has been set.
My friends, these aint tears, you see, I say to you
It’s the new dawn’s beauty; it’s sweet morning dew!
